The Collector
Based in Herne Bay, England, this collection started as a simple appreciation for great underwear and swimwear design — and never really stopped.
What began as a wardrobe has become something closer to an archive. Between 2,000 and 3,000 individual items, 277 brands owned across 49 countries, and a spreadsheet that grows weekly, this project documents one of the most extensive personal underwear & swimwear collections in the world.
The database tracks 1,433+ brands from Argentina to Taiwan, from luxury fashion houses to tiny independent labels — because great design deserves to be known about, wherever it comes from.
This site exists to share that love, curate that knowledge, and — yes — maybe nudge a wishlist item or two toward becoming reality.
